Designer and Art Director, Toni Grilo was born in France in 1979. Graduated from the École Boulle in Paris in 2001, he went to Lisbon, continuing to develop projects in France. At the end of Europe, finding its roots, he discovers a rich industrial and craft country, and is obsessed by the beauty of technical processes and materials. After various collaborations, in 2008 he opened his own studio, designing products, furniture, scenography and spaces. A pioneer in Portugal, he created several brands with a contemporary, timeless and emphasizes the quality of production, respect for matter, nature and people. RILUC was born in 2009, Haymann Editions in 2012, Widu in 2013, Blackcork in 2014, Marm and INOT in 2019. He also created the LXD Lisboa Design Show and he became art director of the prestigious century-old Topázio silversmith from 2013 to 2018. His work has been exhibited on all continents. It is part of private and public collections such as MUDE in Lisbon, Mobilier National in Paris.
